Week 2: “We have no more time. What we can do for save the Earth when politics doesn’t react?”
Not Saving
the Planet in the Perfect Way still Could Be Enough.
So if we are
really trying to save the Planet, maybe that requires a superior position that
allows us to make decisions and make everyone forced to accept it. And this
makes us think about politicians, they’re controlling everything whether we
wanted to accept it or not. The food we eat, the things we watch on the TV and
the clothes we wear … everything has become politics so maybe that’s what
should happen for “Saving the Planet”, maybe it has to become a political
manner so that we can get to something. Though politics have already taken a
big part of this, there are countries where the law forbids certain behaviors
that would harm the nature; some others are helping associations who are fighting
for this …
But the question now is how much are politicians ready to do for
this? Would they accept to give up all these means of power that are killing
our Planet at the same time if we asked them to? Will they try to save the
planet in all the possible ways or just in the ones that work for their
benefits?
Maybe we
should give up dreaming of a world where everyone is doing everything possible
to save the Planet and just be more realistic thinking that we could go slowly
making ourselves and every person around us caring more and more about the
earth day by day because this way politicians’ contribution wouldn’t matter
that much and we still would have saved the planet whether in all the ways or
not.
